1. About Us
Nicola Nurtures Ltd is an approved Arts Award Centre.
Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification awarded by Trinity College London.
2. Booking and Payment
All places must be booked in advance.
A place is confirmed once payment has been received in full (unless otherwise agreed).
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw a place where it is not in the best interests of the learner or the group.
3. Fees
Course fees may include:
Delivery of the Arts Award programme
Materials and resources (where stated)
Arts Award qualification fee payable to Trinity College London
Where applicable, fees will be clearly stated on your invoice.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
4.1 Cancellation by Parent / Carer
If you cancel before the course start date, a full refund will normally be issued.
If you cancel after the course has started, refunds for delivery costs are not normally available.
4.2 Arts Award Qualification Fees
A portion of the fee covers registration and certification with Trinity College London.
Once a learner has been registered, this element of the fee is non‑refundable.
4.3 Withdrawal from the Programme
If a learner withdraws:
Before registration with Trinity → a partial refund may be offered
After registration → the qualification fee is non-refundable, and other fees may also be retained depending on timing
4.4 Cancellation by the Centre
If Nicola Nurtures Ltd cancels a course:
A full refund will be provided
This will include any qualification fees not yet paid to Trinity
Where possible, an alternative session or course will be offered
4.5 Exceptional Circumstances
We may offer refunds or credits in exceptional situations (e.g. illness or safeguarding concerns), at our discretion.
5. Attendance and Participation
Learners are expected to attend regularly and engage with activities.
We will only enrol learners where we believe they are likely to complete the programme.
We cannot guarantee completion if attendance is inconsistent.
6. Arts Award Assessment
Learners complete a portfolio of evidence to achieve their qualification.
Assessment is carried out by a trained Arts Award Adviser.
Trinity College London may moderate a sample of work to ensure national standards.
7. Safeguarding
Nicola Nurtures Ltd is committed to safeguarding children and young people:
All relevant staff hold Enhanced DBS checks
A safeguarding policy is in place and reviewed regularly
Concerns are handled in line with statutory guidance
A copy of our safeguarding policy is available on request.
8. Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in order to deliver Arts Award programmes.
This includes sharing relevant data with Trinity College London for:
Registration
Moderation
Certification
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Use of Images
Photographs or video may be taken for assessment purposes (portfolio evidence).
Images will only be used for marketing or publicity with separate parental consent.
All media is stored securely in line with data protection requirements.
10. Behaviour
We expect all learners to:
Treat others with respect
Follow reasonable instructions from staff
Engage safely in activities
We reserve the right to remove a learner from a session where behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.
11. Complaints and Appeals
We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly.

Formal complaints will be handled in line with our Complaints Procedure
Appeals relating to Arts Award assessment may be referred to Trinity College London
A copy of our complaints policy is available on request.
12. Liability
Nicola Nurtures Ltd will take reasonable care to ensure a safe environment.
However, participation in activities is at your own risk, except in cases of proven negligence.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
